We do a bake sale every day at school. Each day a different member of the group is responsible for making the items. The money made goes directly to offset that student’s trip cost. On average, we bring in $30 to $40 per day.— Beth, Florida

FLAG Scholarship

Our most popular scholarship program is the FLAG (Future Leaders of American Government) Scholarship program, offering $1 million in travel assistance to thousands of families each year. Families with an annual adjusted gross income (AGI) up to $85,000 are invited to complete a confidential, easy application to receive travel assistance funds.* The scholarship program is supported by a grant from the FLAG Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, and supplemented by funds from WorldStrides. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Fundraising Tip

Coordinate a coffeehouse at the school and invite student acoustic bands, jazz acts, interpretive dancers, and poets to perform. Sell hot beverages and baked goods to raise funds.
